Hullo everyone! Can someone explain to me how to cease installing the .nix mods? Any mod that ends in .jar works perfectly fine, but ane that cease in .zip practise not. Thanks!

Most of the time, in the .zip, there is an Installer for the mod inside. The icon looks like a scarlet bar graph. Click it, then click Install. You can backup Minecraft. You so should exist skillful to go.

If there is no installer, extract information technology. That is what I do to .zip mods.

If it is a Forge mod (and the .nothing file is the mod), you can put the .cypher file in the mods folder. A .jar file is just a .nada file with a different proper noun (rename a .jar to .nil and see what happens).
